Minac Holiday Village is located on Canim Lake in the Interior Region of the province of BC in Western Canada.

Our local area is known as the "Cariboo" and we're in the southern portion of that area.
The main north/south highway is Hwy. 97, also known as the "Cariboo Gold Rush Route". From that main highway,
it's an easy 45 minute drive from 100 Mile House to Minac, on paved highway all the way.
YOU CAN GET HERE BY...
CAR:
About 6 hours from Vancouver through
some
of the best scenery in the world. Driving instructions are shown on the right side of this page.
BUS:
Greyhound to 100 Mile House - ditto on the scenery.
AIR:
Air Canada from
Vancouver to Williams Lake.
FLOAT PLANE:
Docking available at our wharf.
WALKING:
Well, it's an option. We're a long way from a major city, so pack a large lunch!

| Driving Instructions To Minac from 100 Mile House, BC:
1. From the South: Take Hwy. 97 north through 100 Mile House
From the North: Watch for the Canim Lake (left) turn at the lighted intersection about 1 mile (1.6 km) north of 100 Mile.
2. At the Canim-Hendrix Lake Road junction (traffic lights), take a left turn (if coming from the North) or a right turn (if coming from the South - 100 Mile House) on to Canim-Hendrix Road.
3. Proceed to Forest Grove, about a 20 minute drive.
4. At Forest Grove, turn right at the (only!) stop sign. You will still be on Canim-Hendrix Road.
5. Continue on this road for about 25 minutes until you see our sign on your right.
6. C'mon on in, 'cause you've arrived!
Total driving time from 100 Mile House is about 45 minutes. |
